John Lindert Elected President of Michigan Section PGA

Michigan Section PGAEAST LANSING – The Country Club of Lansing's John Lindert has been elected President of the Michigan Section of the PGA of America by the organization's members.

Lindert, a member of The PGA of America since 1983, was elected by his peers during the Michigan Section PGA’s Annual Meeting, held Oct. 12, 2009, at East Lansing’s Eagle Eye Golf Club. Lindert has been Director of Golf at Country Club of Lansing since 2007.

“It is an honor and I am deeply humbled to be selected to serve as Michigan Section PGA President,” said Lindert.

Lindert previously served as vice president of the Michigan PGA. He succeeds Dave Kendall of Kendall Academy of Golf.
